New Studio Location

A new beginning!

I started 3 years ago by building a production room in my home and by renting a nice room on a farm to do loud recordings, like drums. Locals quickly learnt how much better quality full music production can give them. With Heavy Rain I focus on the pro album quality sound. I don’t do the “live recording and quick live mix on a mixer” thing, like recording studios would do for you. I am more! Recording and production. Prepare for clarity and a huge big album sound! 😉 So after 3 years of continuous support from locals, I felt like it’s time to give more back. So after about 18 days of building I re-opened at a brand new location in Kendal town centre on the 10.06.2019. The place is amazing, there’s a huge parking area and a nice view on Kendal and the river. I found the perfect sized room with natural light, which fits the way I work. The “old school” way like big bands did it. Recording one by one. I split the room into two: A live / recording room and a production room, where I treated acoustics in a special way as it will also be used for mixing and mastering purposes. I chose this location as I also liked the idea of sharing a huge building with many other great businesses in Kendal. There are so many things to do here:
